Dead Deers

if you get woosey at the sight of dead animals, or have a soft heart for the movie Bambi, then you may not want to proceed to look at these photos.

Well last week was the annual Deer Killing fest. so this is a special post for just for Russ, however, Russ dosent like to support my blogging addcition, so these photos will be narrated by...ME!

Everyone is so happy to have dead deer laying on the front lawn! nothing calls for a family photo opp like dead rotting animals.

I think Russ is trying to rip the antlers (is that what they are called?) off it's head?

Horray! we killed Bambi.

as you can tell it was a succesful hunt this year. And I am pretty sure they are allready planning next years! oh geeez!

If you cant tell, things have been a little "lonely" around here, with Milo being gone to school all day, Auggie gets so bored hanging around with me all day! So we introduced him to a little friend we call "Gus" (that's Auggies evil fat twin, that comes out when he is mad) and by the looks of theses pictures he REALLY likes him. I just thought these were so cute, he has so much fun "playing" (with himself) in the mirror...

The Women

So, A bunch of us "women" decided to go see a late night showing of the new movie "the women" to our surprise, when we got there and the movie was starting, there was not another soul in there! i thought this was pretty funny, and happened to have my camera with me, so i decided to go prop it on the row in front of us, so we could get a shot of the PACKED theater! after setting the 10 second timer, I rushed back to my seat, and got totally HIGH CENTERED! my foot got stuck in the crack and I couldnt make it over in time, meanwhile no one offred to lend a helping hand, and Summer sure looks like she is having a great time watching me struggle! so this is the explanation for the butt shot.

and this was the second time around...Finally! made it!

As far as the Movie goes... it was a total "Chick-flick" but what do you expect with a title like "the women" I found it very entertaining, and would possibly even go see it again! so... call me!

Dove Huntin'

This was Milos First year he was able to go Dove Hunting with the boys. He was so excited because he got his own BB gun last year and has been dying to KILL something with it! eww gross! he was very proud of the Bird that he shot.

This picture just makes me giggle... Ok, I love how everyone is holding their bird, lets start from left to right. Mike is just holding it as if it were a toy or something he carries around often, he even has a drink in the other hand like its no big deal that their is a DEAD BIRD in his hands! Next, we have Megan only one of two girls in the whole Lowry grand kids (Lexi was inside doing something, that is why she is not in the pic.) But, Megan holding true to "girl" form is all decked out in Camo with pink accents and holding the bird as if it were a stinky sock or something? Then is my all time FAVORITE! little Jonah is actually putting that bird on his FACE!! disgusting!!!! he doesn't seem to mind at all that he is smelling a dead bird right up in his face! oh it just gives me the hee bee gee bees! And of course we have Milo striking a pose while holding a dead animal. i think i saw that in Vogue once? all in all it was a successfully nasty hunting trip. I'm sure their will be MANY more to come! o-yeah.

10 Years!! (is that all?)

Russ and I celebrated our 10 year anniversary this last weekend! we look like 12 year olds in this picture! (well we almost were!) The time has just flown by, and I still feel like we are 19 year olds just playing house. For our little 10 year celebration, we ventured up to Park City and stayed at the Hotel Park City. We enjoyed a romatical dinner at Ruths Chris, which was delicious. And then to make it EXTRA romantic we went and saw a movie... no, not a romatic-comedy or a juicy love story.... we saw The Dark Night! not exactly the most anniversary-esk flick. But I did enjoy it, in a weird dark way? and what would the night be without some crazy random pictures...

I look a little "woosey" here. A little privacy please...

Fun at the Lake...

We are so excited that Paul and Kristi moved back to Utah! Milo has so much fun playing with Mikey and Lexie. Last Saturday we all decided to go for a little boat ride on Utah Lake.

Milo and Lexie took a little run out on the tube, but couldn't quite convince Michael to get on!

Rusty even took Auggie into the nasty water for a little swim, he loved it anyway.

So... I got talked into taking a little ride on the tube. I don't really like "watersports" but I decided to be a good sport and give it try. My only stipulation was, " I don't want to get my hair wet!" (lame I know.) SO lets just say no matter how hard my face was smashing into the tube, and my body flailing about, practically folding in half I DIDN'T LET GO! my arms were so shaky after and still to this day are sooo sore!

But despite that... we had a fun trip and even Auggie and Jackson were mellow and happy to be there the whole time.
