New Blog Name... new attitude.

So, I have been thinking ALOT lately about this whole crazy infertility world. I have read so many blogs about others and their challenges with infertility, pregnancy, loss etc... And I would get a little overwhelmed thinking of all the grief that we go through or may go through!

So I heard this song.....Now, hear me out here, I'm not some big obsessive Miley Cyrus/Hannah Montana fan. However. I was listening to the song of hers tittled "The Climb" (Dont mind the video, just listen to the words!) If you haven't ever listened to it, I suggest you do, especially if you are of ever have faced infertility or the challenges that come with it.

And this really made me think. Isn't that what we are all in the process of right now? Our own individual "climb" and I feel that the Infertility "climb" has to be one of the worst out there. I found myself feeling bad that I was at this point of the "climb" when so many others out there were still lagging behind a little. But then when I look back a the "climbs" that I have made, I find it amazing that no matter how hard it was, or what the outcome was, at some point, I turned around, and did it all over again! And I know of, and have read so many other fellow bloggers, who have done the exact same thing in even harder circumstances than myself. I am so inspired by so many of you out there!

So, that is my reason for the name change. I just felt that it is more fitting for this type of blog that deals with struggles of infertility AND pregancy!

5 weeks 1 day

I feel like I am lying when I tell people that I am pregnant! it still is not real to me and it is driving Russ CRAZY that I cant just admit it and be happy. dont get me wrong, I am Happy! It just seems to good to be true! ya' know? well I went in this morning and had my second blood test to make sure my HCG levels were rising appropriately. the levels are suppose to double every 48 to 72 hours. So my first level of 271 should have been at LEAST 2100 right? well, I got the call from the nurse who told me that my levels were "ok" so automatically I got a little nervous. "ok" what does "ok" mean? so I asked what was the number and she said 6853..... um? I think that's a little more than "ok" that means that it is doubling every 30 hours! So to make a long story short... I'm pregnant. 5 weeks 1 day to be exact. now if I could only convince myself of that. I go in next Wednesday to get an ultrasound to see how many of these little guys stayed around!? maybe then it will feel more real?

total shock.
Beta 271

POSITIVE!

I cant even believe it! I had absolutely no symptoms or indications that i could even be pregnant! I was SURE that this was a bust! I was calculating how many more semesters of student loans I would have to get before I could try next time! I had researched all over the Internet to try and find someone who had no symptoms and still came out with a positive beta... let me tell ya, there were slim pickins' so this post will be for those who googled "no symptoms BFP" or "no symptoms positive beta" because that's me! OK. now I'm just rambling, I am so excited and shocked! really.
